About us

The people building live entertainment technology

Pixl Events is a live entertainment technology company. We design, build and run the ticketing, access control, cashless and data platform that events depend on, and the people who write it are the people you work with.

Our story

A technology company built by event people

Pixl Events exists because the software our founders relied on had clearly never been built by anyone who had used it. They knew exactly where it buckled: the scanner that drops offline at the head of a queue, the onsale that stalls in the first ninety seconds, the reconciliation that takes three days because the data lives in five systems.

So we became the technology company we could not buy. We own the whole stack, from the ticketing engine and access hardware to the reporting layer, and we develop it continuously rather than shipping a version once a year. Nothing goes into the platform that our own team would not want to depend on.

Meet the team

The people you actually work with

There is no account layer between you and the people building your platform. These are the leads who own the software, the hardware and the data.

Runs access control and cashless devices, from firmware and offline mode to what a door team sees at 11pm.

What we believe

Four rules we do not bend

They sound simple. They are the engineering decisions behind everything we ship.

01

Built for the worst network in the building

Offline first, always. Devices keep validating and taking payment with no connectivity, then reconcile cleanly the moment the link returns.

02

One record, one source of truth

Ticketing, access, cashless and reporting write to the same data model. No exports to merge, no arguing about which number is the real one.

03

The engineers stay on the account

The team that built your configuration is the team that answers you. Support is a person who already knows your setup, not a ticket in a queue.

04

If it isn't measured, it isn't finished

Scan times, queue throughput, wallet adoption and spend per head are all instrumented, so decisions come from data instead of instinct.

Working here

We hire people who like the pressure

Engineers who have stood at a gate, producers who can read a scan curve, designers who know a poster has a job to do. If that sounds like the way you work, we would like to hear from you.

Small teams with real ownership, from the first architecture call through to what ships that season.

Time on site every season, because nobody should ship event software they have never watched being used.

Post-show debriefs that change the roadmap, not a document nobody reads.
